Delshad ISMAEL SHAKER Botani

Dr. Botani has over 20 years of experience managing statistical surveys and qualitative studies. He is the President of Statistics Organization for Society Support (SOSS) and leads the organization’s portfolio of surveys, qualitative studies, situational analysis, market research and technical trainings. Dr. Botani has worked with both national and international organizations, including FAO, FHI360, USAID, UNICEF, etc. 

He ia also an Assistant Professor in the department of Statistics and Informatics at the Salahaddin University, Erbil. He teaches principles of statistics, mathematical statistics, operation research, statistical surveys, multivariate statistical analyses, data analysis using SPSS, probability, visual basic programming, and computer applications. His YouTube channel offers lectures in statistics, including multivariate statistical analysis in Kurdish. He is also the author of Amarzani (Statistics) in the Kurdish language. 

Dr. Botani has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Statistics from Salahaddin University, and a PhD in Statistics from the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics, and Informatics (MESI), Russia.
