RISE International Consulting—where every data point matters....
At RISE International Consulting, we are committed to high-quality data collection, evaluations, and research to enhance accountability and evidence-based decision-making. Our goal is to support organizations in learning, adapting, and achieving program effectiveness.
We bring expertise in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) across emergency and non-emergency environments. Our M&E data collection approaches encompass:
We employ qualitative and quantitative methods to conduct mixed-method studies for baseline and endline assessments, ensuring comprehensive insights that drive informed decision-making.
RISE International’s expertise includes both mixed-methods and qualitative studies. Our approach to mixed-method studies includes the collection of quantitative and qualitative data. To ensure unbiased analysis of qualitative data from semi-structured and in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and direct observations, where much of the evidence may be anecdotal or inferred, we use triangulation of quantitative and qualitative data to identify inconsistencies, ensure reliability, and reduce the response bias.
Our experts have considerable experience in implementing both experimental (randomized-controlled trials) and quasi-experimental impact evaluations. Our approach to experimental impact evaluations includes designing a baseline survey with random assignment of treatment and control groups from the targeted population and addressing issues of selection bias. Where random assignment is not possible, we use quasi-experimental design—that is, rigorous statistical methods, including propensity score matching.
Our experts have extensive experience conducting performance monitoring and context monitoring. In addition to PBS surveys, examples of our experience in performance monitoring include post-distribution monitoring surveys and beneficiary-based surveys. Other monitoring methods and tools include output monitoring, outcome monitoring, and process monitoring. Our expertise also includes remote monitoring and third-party monitoring in complex non-permissive environments.
