We assess the extent to which nutritional and non-nutritional factors cause anemia among Rohingya children in Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) camps. RISE International collects qualitative and quantitative data from mothers, donors, health workers, and teams providing supplementation/iron fortified products to children under the age of 5 years. We collect capillary and venous blood for testing and analysis of hemoglobin, serum transferrin, serum ferritin, CBC, vitamin B12, folate, TIBC, beta-thalassemia, CRP and AGP.
This project is implemented by UNICEF Bangladesh in 33 FDMN Camps in Ukhiya and Teknaf, Cox's Bazar.

RISE International conducts RAIN's FY24 Annual Survey to measure progress towards key Food for Progress (FFPr) outcome indicators. A census of all farmers for the participant-based survey collect data on crop yield, technology application, finance, sales, and use of RAIN-promoted climate smart innovations (CSi). RISE conducts in-depth interviews of farmers who purchase CSi, firms and buyers/sellers operating in the cassava and rice value chain. Using farmer characteristics, detailed production, and marketing practices, we generate farmer profile.

RISE International implements the evaluation of the SHARE project in Chicot, Phillips, St. Francis, and Lake Village Counties in Arkansas. With the goal of fostering total worker health, the SHARE project provides targeted assistance to employees, employers, clinical staff, nurses, and Community Health Workers in the target area. We collect data using focus groups of employees and in-depth interviews of employers and employees. We also collect data from the key stakeholders, including health centers in the Delta. The evaluation will assess whether the employers implemented evidence-based health promotion strategies to improve the health and well-being of their employees.
This USDA funded project is implemented by the US Programs Winrock and consortium partners including, New York Institute of Technology–College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM-Arkansas), and Community Health Centers of Arkansas (CHCA).

We work closely with UNICEF's Regional Office to develop a panoramic review of the situation and trends of acute malnutrition in the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region. We conduct qualitative studies in countries that have a high prevalence of wasting; are hardest hit by the pandemic; are susceptible to climate shocks; and those with children on the move. We collect data on current standards and practices, national policies, regulations, surveillance systems, protocols, and guidelines related to care and management of acute malnutrition, specifically severe acute malnutrition, both as part of routine service and as part of emergency response.
The project is funded by UNICEF's Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Office (LACRO). UNICEF works in 36 countries and territories in the LAC region.

RISE International Consulting implements the baseline evaluation of the RAIN project. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funded project identifies, validates, scales, and shares Climate Smart Innovations (CSi) and practices for six value chain commodities—rice, cassava, mangosteen, longan, coconut, and durian—in eleven provinces in Thailand. The mixed-method evaluation includes a farmer survey and in depth interviews with farmers and key stakeholders.
Thailand RAIN is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture's Food for Progress Program. It is implemented by Winrock International in partnership with Michigan State University.
